Digital Solution for Education in Africa
In order to help primary teachers acquire the digital skills necessary for remote teaching, REB worked with the Digital Skills Foundation (DSF). The DSF offers digital literacy trainings via an online platform and uses the Training of Trainers method. Thus, in a first step, 30 Master Trainers received training enabling them to facilitate the subse- quent onboarding and training of 3092 primary teachers. Via the DSF platform, the teachers could complete differ- ent courses on digital literacy, 21st century teaching and learning as well as teachers’ well-being. The acquired knowledge will help the teachers to master challenges related to remote teaching and to thrive in a digital society.
